Trumpeter 1:700 F4F-4 Wildcat — a set of shipboard aircraft is a set of small models of the American carrier fighter to complete the deck of an aircraft carrier in a 1:700 scale diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of small plastic models of the American F4F-4 Wildcat carrier fighter in 1:700 scale from Trumpeter. The box contains several aircraft on shared sprues, intended to complete the deck of an aircraft carrier model or a naval diorama in the same scale. The models are miniature, with a simple build and a decal sheet with American naval markings.
The Grumman F4F Wildcat was the main American carrier fighter of the early war in the Pacific. The F4F-4 version brought folding wings for more compact stowage on deck and in the hangar, and heavier armament. Although it was less agile than the Japanese Zero, its rugged structure, armor and team tactics made it a tenacious opponent that covered the American formations in the hardest period of the war.
Clean the small parts of sprue remains carefully and glue them with a light touch. Because of their size a basic airbrush coat, a light emphasis of the panels and restrained decals are enough. Keep the color scheme of all the pieces consistent, so that the deck looks unified.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
