This is a miniature kit of a set of aircraft in 1:700 scale intended to complete models of ships. The box contains several pieces of the aircraft molded in clear plastic, with which you can fill the flight deck and the hangars of a model of an aircraft carrier.
The McDonnell Douglas F/A-18D Hornet is the two-seat version of the American carrier-borne Hornet fighter-bomber. It combines the tasks of a fighter and a strike aircraft and formed the backbone of the carrier squadrons of the US Navy.
The parts are very delicate for the scale and call for careful cleaning up and gluing with cyanoacrylate. The clear plastic makes it easier to pick out the canopy. Once glued, spray the aircraft in naval gray shades and add the markings.
This is a set of shipboard aircraft to complete a ship model. Paints, glue and the ship model itself are not included in the package.
