The set contains miniature figures of aircraft carrier deck crew in 1:700 scale. It is an accessory for a model, not a kit of a vessel. Flight deck personnel, the directors, technicians and handlers, give a carrier model its typical busy atmosphere and the right sense of scale.
The figures are meant to be placed around the flight deck between the aircraft, at the elevators and at the service stations. The pre-painted photo-etched execution is printed in advance, so the figures are ready to use once cut free. A populated flight deck is exactly what separates a realistic carrier model from an empty hull.
Because of their small size, work with tweezers and a sharp knife, bend the figures along the marked lines and attach them with a drop of super glue. Their placing follows the logic of deck operations: directors by the aircraft, technicians at the service points. Distinguishing the crew roles by color adds to the realism.
This is an accessory for a model, not a stand-alone kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
