HMS Hotspur was an H-class destroyer built for the Royal Navy in the second half of the 1930s. During the war she served in the Mediterranean and in the Atlantic, escorted convoys and took part in actions against German and Italian forces. In 1941 she carried the armament and equipment matching the wartime modifications that this set captures.
Bend the small photo-etched parts of the railings and the fittings with tweezers and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Glue the hull and the superstructure with thin plastic cement. Treat the base with a primer, apply the camouflage scheme with an airbrush and pick the details out with a wash and a dry brush. The model comes into its own on a suitable stand or in a sea base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
