Turned brass barrels for the Japanese 36 cm/45 naval gun in 1:700 scale from MASTER. Accurate metal barrels (8 pieces) of the Vickers and 41st Year types for the Kongo, Fuso and Ise classes; a detail accessory, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set from MASTER contains 8 turned brass barrels for the Japanese naval gun of 36 cm caliber (barrel length 45 calibers) in 1:700 scale, in the Vickers type and the 41st Year Type. These barrels made up the main artillery armament of the Japanese ships of the Kongo, Fuso and Ise classes. The metal barrels replace the plastic parts and give a perfectly straight muzzle. It is a detail accessory, not a ship model.
The gun of 36 cm caliber with a barrel length of 45 calibers grew out of the original British Vickers design and in Japanese service bore the designation 41st Year Type. It was the main armament of the fast battleships of the Kongo class and of the battleships of the Fuso and Ise classes. These guns of the Imperial Japanese Navy took part in fighting throughout the Second World War.
Separate the barrels from the casting block, clean them up and glue them on with cyanoacrylate. Degrease the brass before painting and apply a primer, then put the paint on with an airbrush. Straight metal barrels raise the fidelity of the main turrets.
This is a metal detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
