Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a kit but an accessory for a model. According to the name the package combines a veneer cut-out of the flight deck, with pre-printed planking and a self-adhesive back, with photo-etched parts. The extent of the photo-etched parts is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
On an aircraft carrier the order of work differs from a battleship. The flight deck carries markings that go on only once the surface is finished, so lay the veneer first, let it set and deal with decals or spraying afterwards. If you use decals, they need a smooth and slightly glossy base, otherwise a white haze appears under the film. A thin coat of gloss varnish on the veneer solves that, and once the markings are on, the whole thing is evened out with matte varnish. When spraying through stencils, make sure the masking tape is not too tacky, as thin veneer tears easily.
Kaga was a Japanese aircraft carrier converted from the unfinished hull of a large surface ship. In the 1930s she went through a reconstruction that gave her a continuous flight deck along her whole length. She was lost in June 1942 at the Battle of Midway.
Cut photo-etched parts off on a hard surface with a knife, bend them over a sharp edge and glue them with a minimum of super glue. Degrease them before painting and go over them with a primer.
The set is an accessory for a model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
