Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese destroyer Kasumi in 1:700 scale from Hasegawa. It is a waterline version, that is the hull down to the waterline, as if the ship were afloat. The package holds plastic parts and a decal sheet; the model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Kasumi was an Asashio class destroyer of the Imperial Japanese Navy, in service during the Second World War. The fast, heavily armed destroyers of this generation carried both gun and torpedo armament and performed escort as well as offensive duties. Kasumi was lost at the end of the war in 1945 while escorting a major surface unit.
On ships in the waterline version it is the layout of the deck, the superstructures and the armament that comes through; fine items such as railings can be added with photo-etched parts (not included in the package). Glue the plastic with a thin cement and set the model on a base that imitates the water surface. Bring the shades of gray to life with subtle highlighting and weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
