An injection-molded plastic kit of the American battleship USS Missouri (BB-63) in 1:700 scale. The model captures the massive hull with a finely engraved wooden pattern of the deck. Included in the package are photo-etched parts and a display stand for showing the finished model.
The USS Missouri was one of the Iowa-class battleships, the largest surface combatants of the US Navy. It went down in history as the place where the Japanese surrender was signed in Tokyo Bay in 1945, which ended the Second World War. The ship served in further decades as well, after an extensive modernization.
Decide whether you are building a full hull or a waterline version; adjust the underside accordingly. Glue the fine photo-etched parts (railings, radars) with cyanoacrylate glue. Accentuate the deck and the superstructures with a wash in the recesses and with a dry brush. The finished model stands out well on the enclosed display stand.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
