USS Washington was a fast battleship of the North Carolina class, the first modern American battleships completed before the United States entered the Second World War. She carried nine 406 mm guns and heavy anti-aircraft armament. She became famous in the night action off Guadalcanal in November 1942, where she put the Japanese battleship Kirishima out of action. She served in the Pacific throughout the war.
Cut the parts from the sprues and glue them with thin cement for plastic; the small parts in 1:700 call for care and are well complemented by fine photo-etched railings (available separately). Decide in advance between the full hull and the waterline. Apply a primer before painting and spray with an airbrush; the Measure camouflage schemes are typical of American ships, and the lines should be picked out with a wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
