Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet heavy nuclear-powered missile cruiser Kirov in 1:700 scale from Trumpeter. The hull can be built complete for a stand, or in a waterline version. The package contains the parts of the hull and of the extensive superstructure, decals and instructions.
Kirov was the lead ship of the class of the same name of large nuclear-powered missile cruisers of the Soviet Navy. It was distinguished by a massive superstructure, a large number of vertical missile silos and well-developed sensors. Units of this class were among the largest surface combatants with nuclear reactor propulsion during the Cold War.
Glue with thin cement for plastic. Decide between the full-hull and the waterline version before you glue the bottom on. The complex superstructure and the radars will stand out after a primer coat, airbrushing and a wash to emphasize them. Fine aerials and railings can be added with aftermarket photo-etched parts.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
