A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:700 scale from Print Scale for the model of the Soviet aircraft carrier Varyag. It offers deck markings, lines, lettering and technical captions that bring a model of the large surface carrier to life. It serves as an alternative or a supplement to the kit decals; the ship model itself has to be bought separately.
The Varyag was a heavy aircraft carrier of the Soviet Navy, the second ship of the same class as the Kuznetsov. Her construction began in the 1980s, but she was left unfinished when the Soviet Union broke up. She was a large vessel with a full-length angled flight deck and a ski-jump ramp at the bow.
Apply the decals over a smooth clear coat, which prevents silvering. Dip the small part briefly in lukewarm water and slide it carefully off the backing onto its place once it has softened. In this small scale work with tweezers and we recommend using a decal softener; finally seal the surface with a matte varnish.
