This plastic kit in 1:72 scale from UM captures the German assault gun with a 10.5 cm howitzer on the proven chassis of the Jagdpanzer 38(t). The model is molded in injection plastic with fine surface detail and is complemented by a set of photo-etched parts. It offers a faithful running gear and armored superstructure.
This was a development variant that mounted a 10.5 cm howitzer, intended for direct fire support of the infantry, onto the light 38(t) chassis. It combined the mobility of a light tank destroyer with more destructive incendiary and fragmentation ammunition. The 38(t) chassis served as the basis for a range of German self-propelled guns and tank destroyers at the end of the war.
We recommend starting with the running gear and the interior of the superstructure before you close it up. Glue the photo-etch with cyanoacrylate glue and the plastic with liquid cement for plastic. Once the primer and the camouflage scheme are sprayed on, bring the model to life with a wash in the recesses and pigments for dust and mud effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
