A plastic kit of the modern 2S23 Nona-SVK self-propelled mortar system of 120 mm caliber in 1:72 scale from ACE. The model is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted injection-molded kit; it is a short-run kit for more experienced modelers.
The 2S23 Nona-SVK is a Russian self-propelled mortar of 120 mm caliber that joins a wheeled armored personnel carrier to a rotating turret carrying a universal weapon able to fire both mortar bombs and artillery shells. It serves for direct and indirect fire support alike. It is a scale model of modern equipment.
With short-run kits, expect to clean the parts up more carefully and to fill joints. Glue them with a thin cement for plastic; we recommend a primer, an airbrush and weathering with washes and pigments. Assemble and paint the chassis before closing the hull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
