The A-129 Mangusta is a light attack helicopter developed for the Italian army as the first European attack helicopter of its class. It is marked by a slender silhouette, a tandem cockpit and equipment for night combat, thanks to which it carries anti-tank and other armament. It has been deployed on peacekeeping as well as combat missions and became the backbone of the Italian army attack helicopter force. It is valued for its agility and its ability to operate in poor visibility.
It is a good idea to assemble and paint the cockpit and crew area before closing up the fuselage. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and mask the glazing. A base primer improves paint adhesion. Dark green shades of the army finish suit the typical look, and the panel lines should be brought out with a fine wash. Small protrusions and antennas are fragile, so glue them carefully. Fit the rotors and armament at the end of the build.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
