The Aero MB-200 is a twin-engine bomber of the thirties, built in Czechoslovakia under license from the French Bloch MB.200. The machine has an angular fuselage, a high-mounted wing and fixed landing gear, a form that already looked dated when it was introduced. What is interesting above all is the extent of the glazed and open stations for the crew, because it is precisely those that give the model character and at the same time make the most work while painting.
Glazing on a model cannot really be stripped once the frames have been brushed over crookedly. Pre-cut masks take the uncertainty out of that work: the pieces are stuck onto the clear molding exactly along the frames, the rest of the area is covered and it is sprayed over in the same color as its surroundings. Once they come off, the frame stays sharp and the glass clean.
First wash the clear parts and let them dry completely; a mask does not hold on a greasy surface. Lift the individual shapes with pointed tweezers or a stick and press them down around the perimeter, so that paint does not creep under the edge. Spray only afterward, in several light coats; a heavy application will flood under the edge and the line will blur. Take the mask off shortly after the paint has dried; the longer it stays on the model, the harder it comes away.
The aircraft kit, the paints and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
