This is an accessory for a build, not a model. The package contains pre-cut self-adhesive masks for the glazed areas you need to cover while painting. The set is worked out for the Fujimi kit in 1:72 scale.
The Aichi E11A was a Japanese biplane flying boat of the 1930s, used as a night observation and reconnaissance machine to support the activity of surface ships. It was a type produced in a small series, which the Allies knew under the code name Laura. The hull with a glazed nose, the open crew positions and the extensive bracing of the flying surfaces make the model a fairly demanding job for masking and rigging alike.
Before applying the masks, degrease the glazing and let it dry. Lay the masks on with tweezers and press the edges with a toothpick. The proven procedure is to spray a thin layer of the color of the frames first and only then the covering shade, so that any creep underneath does not show. On a biplane, leave the masking of the cabin until after the flying surfaces are glued in, so that you do not damage the set while handling the model. Take the masks off shortly after drying, at a sharp angle. If you complete the model with rigging, run the threads only after the masks are removed, because otherwise they are easily caught and torn off while working with tweezers.
