This is a resin detail set supplemented by decals and photo-etched parts, not an aircraft model. It contains a pair of modern AIM-132 ASRAAM short-range infrared guided air-to-air missiles in 1:72 scale. The castings have sharp fin edges and a fine surface for faithful stores on contemporary fighters.
The AIM-132 ASRAAM is a British infrared-guided short-range missile used by a number of NATO machines. Thanks to its distinctive shape and color markings it is among the rewarding armament elements of modern models.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up; separate the photo-etched parts carefully. Bond with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the body of the missile in its base shade and add the marking decals onto a smooth surface protected with varnish.
It comes as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
