Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from the Ukrainian company Roden captures the German fighter Albatros D.III in 1:72 scale. The set is meant to be glued and painted and offers fine engraved detail as well as decals for several period color schemes.
The Albatros D.III was among the most important German fighters of 1917. It had a sesquiplane layout with a narrower single-spar lower wing, influenced by the French Nieuports, and an inline six-cylinder Mercedes D.IIIa engine of around 160 horsepower. The aircraft was flown by pilots of units such as Jasta 11.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, clean them up and glue them with a thin cement for plastic. We recommend a primer and spraying with an airbrush. For a convincing look the bracing wires and the careful application of the national marking decals are the key.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
