Arms of figures in 1:72 scale are an accessory for figures, not a model on its own. You fit them in place of the factory parts and so gain a new carriage of the body and better detail on a figure.

This is an accessory for figures in 1:72 scale, not a kit of a model. The set contains cast arms, that is replacement limbs which are fitted onto the torsos of figures in place of the parts from ordinary injected sets. It belongs to a line of small body parts that also includes hands, feet and heads sold separately. By replacing the arms you change the pose of a figure most easily, without having to cut and reshape the whole body.
On figures of small scales the arms tend to be the weakest point of a casting: the parting line of the mold runs exactly along their length, so flash stays on them, and the shape of the shoulder and the elbow tends to be simplified. Replacement parts get around that problem. At the same time they make it possible to vary the gestures in a scene — figures from the same set then do not come across as a row of identical figures, which is the most frequent criticism of dioramas.
Separate the arms from the casting block with a sharp knife over a surface, so that the small part does not get lost, and level the surface left after the cut gently with a file. Try dry how the arm follows on from the shoulder of the torso; fill any small gap with a drop of thicker super glue or with modeling filler. Glue resin castings with super glue, because glue for plastic does not hold on them. Wash the parts in lukewarm water with a detergent before painting because of the release agent from the mold. Paint after gluing, so that the joint of the sleeve does not disturb the layer of paint; in 1:72 scale a base shade, a dark wash into the folds and one lightening of the edges are enough.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without a figure. Paints, glue and further parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
