MH models 1:72 AT-2/APN-2 Rebecca/Eureka transponding radar is a resin accessory of a navigation and homing antenna for models of transport and combat aircraft such as the C-47, P-61B, B-24 or P-70 in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail accessory in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer MH models. It contains the parts of the antenna of the Rebecca/Eureka system (AT-2/APN-2), which was used during the Second World War for homing and position finding. This is not an aircraft model, but an accessory with which you improve models of the aircraft that carried this antenna, for example the C-47, P-61B, B-24 or P-70.
The Rebecca/Eureka system was a radio transponder device serving originally for accurate dropping of supplies and paratroops over occupied Europe and later also for homing and approach of aircraft. The characteristic antennas are a clearly visible and interesting detail on a model.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, separate them from the casting blocks and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unpainted, as resin parts. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
