A resin accessory from the Quickboost brand intended to replace the exhaust system on a plastic model of the Avro Shackleton in 1:72 scale. These are parts in the late configuration. It is not a kit but a detail replacement, which offers sharper shapes and open exhaust mouths without any need for drilling.
The Avro Shackleton was a British four-engine maritime patrol and anti-submarine aircraft, in service long after the Second World War. Its piston engines and prominent exhausts are among its characteristic and clearly visible features.
First wash the resin parts free of the remains of mold release agent, carefully cut the casting blocks off and clean the surfaces up. They glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding resin. Lay on a base before painting.
The accessory holds only the resin exhausts. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
