It is not a kit or a spare part but an accessory that takes the place of long-winded cutting of masking tape. The release figure in the name sets apart the edition of the kit the set is shaped for; the particular kit and the contents of the package are stated on the box of the set.
The Vulcan B.2 is a four-engine bomber with a large delta wing and with rounded, fairly low nose glazing. The cockpit is not one large pane but an assembly of several smaller windows with a dense network of frames, which carry on into the curved transition onto the top of the fuselage. It is exactly such curved areas that are hardest to mask with tape - a straight strip ripples on doubly curved glass and the line then never comes out straight. Pre-cut masks get around that problem, because every part already has a shape matching its part of the frame.
Work segment by segment and do not try to cover the whole glazing with one part. Offer every mask up dry first and check whether it sits on the frame, and only then press it home with a toothpick from the middle to the edge. On curved transitions it helps to press the mask briefly and let it settle for a while before the surrounding work is set. Fill in the remaining areas of glazing beyond the reach of the masks with narrow tape or masking fluid. Spray the paint in several thin coats - a heavy coat builds a ridge under the edge of the mask that looks like bleed once it is uncovered.
It is not a kit. The package holds only the masking set; the model, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
