1:72 Avro Vulcan B.2 ADVANCED kabuki masks

Avro Vulcan B.2 - ADVANCED kabuki masks 1:72 (New Ware)

An extended set of masking templates from the maker New Ware for models of the British Avro Vulcan B.2 strategic bomber in 1:72 scale. The masks are precisely cut from kabuki (washi) tape. The ADVANCED variant goes beyond the basic masking of the cabin: besides the glazing and its seals it covers the other clear parts, the wheels, the air intakes and selected color details, so it makes the clean spraying of a more demanding scheme easier.

Use

• Apply the masks to the glazing and the other surfaces according to the frames and the subject
• Press the edges down with a toothpick so that the paint does not creep underneath
• Spray the paint on, ideally with an airbrush
• Once it has dried, take the masks off carefully

Who it is for

For modelers building the Avro Vulcan B.2 in 1:72 scale who want to mask not only the cabin but also the wheels, the intakes and the color details precisely, without laborious hand cutting of tape. Anyone who will make do with the basics will reach for the BASIC variant.

This is a masking accessory, not a model and not paint. The masks are tied to the given type in the given scale.
