This set of seat belts from HGW holds laser-cut belts in fine textile (cloth) and photo-etched metal buckles. The cloth execution lets the belts be bent, thrown over a seat and arranged in a realistic position, so that even at a small scale they look faithful. The FABRIC designation points to the cloth nature of the belts.
The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress was an American four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War, famous for its defensive armament and its toughness. Its roomy interior with several crew stations offers a number of clearly visible places for belt detailing.
The belts are meant for a plastic model of the B-17 bomber in 1:72 scale. The fabric parts are folded according to the instructions, threaded through the photo-etched buckles and glued with cyanoacrylate; the cloth can be toned gently as needed.
This is a standalone accessory for detailing, not a model of an aircraft. The base kit and glue are not included in the package.
