Quickboost 1:72 – B-24 Liberator radiators are a resin detail part for experienced modelers that refines the engine nacelles of the American bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin Quickboost set in 1:72 scale holds precisely cast radiators for the American Consolidated B-24 Liberator heavy bomber. It is not a model of the aircraft but an aftermarket detail part that replaces the simplified plastic parts from the kit and gives the characteristic oval nacelles a more faithful look.
The Consolidated B-24 Liberator was one of the most widespread American four-engine bombers of the Second World War. Its oval engine nacelles carried radiators on their sides, which are among the distinctive recognition features of the aircraft. The resin castings, with the fine structure of the gills and grilles, look better than smooth plastic.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water before bonding, because of the mold release agent from the mold. Separate them from the casting block with a saw or a knife; do not snap them off. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand and cut with respiratory protection, as resin dust is harmful to health.
These are resin detail parts, not a standalone model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
