Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains precisely pre-cut self-adhesive masks made of fine Japanese kabuki tape for 1:72 scale. It is not a kit and it is not a model, but an accessory for modelers that makes masking the glazing and the wheels fundamentally easier and more accurate when spraying paint.
You apply the masks to the frames of the canopy glazing and the other glazed areas, and to the wheel rims. After spraying, the glass therefore stays clear and the tires stay free of paint. Kabuki tape adapts well to curved shapes, holds tight and leaves no adhesive when peeled off. The result is sharp, straight frame lines with no tape to cut by hand.
The Consolidated B-24 Liberator was an American four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War with its characteristic narrow Davis wing and long range. The D version was among the first to be deployed in large numbers. The glazed nose and the defensive turrets mean a lot of masking when painting.
The set contains pre-cut masking parts only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
