Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:72 scale is intended for a plastic model of the American Boeing B-29 Superfortress heavy bomber. It is neither a kit nor a standalone model but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want crisp color edges on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields without the slow job of cutting tape by hand.
The Boeing B-29 Superfortress is an American four-engine heavy bomber from the end of the Second World War. It stood out for its range, its pressurized cabin and its remotely controlled gun turrets. The extensively glazed nose and the observation blisters mean that masking its glazing takes markedly more work than on a fighter.
Degrease the extensive nose glazing and the observation windows thoroughly. Lift the masks off the backing and lay them patiently on the individual panels, working systematically frame by frame. Fine-tune the transitions with a strip of tape. Spray the color with an airbrush in thin coats. The wheel masks separate the tire from the rim. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, the paints, the glue and the decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
