Mr.Paint Blue (Clear) is a transparent blue lacquer shade from the Mr.Paint (MRP) modeling range. It is not an opaque paint: it is a toning lacquer that does not hide the surface beneath but tints it blue and lets the layer underneath show through. The paint has a very fluid, airbrush-ready consistency and is intended exclusively for spraying with an airbrush; it is not suitable for brush application. It is a solvent-based lacquer material that forms a thin, smooth and durable film once dry.

Use

• Toning clear parts: canopies, lights, position and signal lights in blue.
• Color (candy) effects over a metallic or gloss surface, where the layer underneath is meant to show through.
• Creating shades of blue where transparency rather than coverage is wanted.
• Spray in thin coats; the depth of the shade is controlled by the number of coats. If needed, thin it with the thinner the manufacturer recommends for this range.

Who it is for

For modelers who work with an airbrush and need transparent color effects: toning clear parts, backlit lights or candy shades over a metallic finish. Suitable for more advanced modelers used to lacquer (solvent-based) paints.

A solvent-based, flammable material. Use only in a well-ventilated area, ideally with extraction and a respirator, away from sources of fire. Keep out of the reach of children.
