Eduard 1:72 B-29 bomb bay is a full photo-etched set focused on the bomb bay of a model of the American Boeing B-29 Superfortress bomber in 1:72 scale. It is not a model but an add-on to a kit.

It is not a kit of the bomber but a full photo-etched set focused, according to its name, on the bomb bay. On the B-29 that is an extensive internal space which plastic kits as a rule handle only in suggested form, and that is exactly where thin photo-etched sheet makes sense: it can imitate the beams, the hinges and the structure of the walls at a thickness that cannot be reached with cast plastic. You will find the list of parts in the instructions with the set. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
The Boeing B-29 Superfortress was an American four-engine heavy bomber of the end of the Second World War. For its day it was exceptionally advanced: it had a pressurized crew cabin and remotely controlled defensive turrets. It was used above all in the Pacific theater and after the war it served for a number of years more, among other things as a carrier and a test aircraft. It is precisely the pair of large bomb bays in the fuselage that is among its most striking features, and on a model with the doors open it is the most conspicuous place.
The bomb bay has to be finished before the fuselage is glued together, so go through the whole instructions first and plan the order of the steps. In 1:72 scale the individual parts are tiny and easily fly off: use sharp tweezers, work under a magnifier and over a bounded light-colored surface. Bend long photo-etched strips first and try them dry, and only then glue them, because once the super glue has dried they can no longer be moved. Degrease and prime unpainted brass parts, otherwise the paint will not hold on the metal.
