An accessory radar part for a model of the B-52G bomber in 1:72 scale. It is not polystyrene and is glued with super glue.
Responsibility details are not available.
The B-52G is one of the late production versions of the American B-52 Stratofortress heavy strategic bomber. It was one of the most numerous versions in the whole line and the machines stayed in service for long years, during which their equipment went through changes. The appearance of individual aircraft therefore differs by period, so before the build it is worth comparing the documentation for the particular machine you want to build.
According to the name this is a part representing the radar for a B-52G model in 1:72 scale. Which part exactly it is, how many pieces the package holds and which kit the accessory is cut for are not stated here. Check the scope, the placement and the fitting procedure in the manufacturer's instructions and compare the part against the model you are building.
The part is not polystyrene and ordinary cement for plastic has no effect on it; use super glue or a two-part resin. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand off the rest. If the accessory replaces a part of the kit, remove the original plastic carefully first and level the surface so that the part seats without a gap. Wash the part in lukewarm soapy water before painting and degrease it; primer holds considerably better on a clean surface.
You will appreciate the accessory if you build the B-52 in 1:72 scale and want to work this area up in more detail than the base kit offers. It is an accessory for a build, not a standalone model: the aircraft kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
