The BA-6 was a Soviet heavy armored car of the middle of the 1930s, which followed on from the earlier BA-3 type. In its rotating turret it carried a 45 mm gun and two machine guns, which brought it close to the light tanks in firepower. Compared with its predecessor it received tires more resistant to infantry-caliber fire. The vehicle was deployed in the Spanish Civil War, at Khalkhin Gol, in the Soviet-Finnish war and in the opening battles of the Second World War.
Short-run kits call for care: clean any flash off the parts and glue them with thin cement for plastic, the finest pieces with cyanoacrylate. Paint the chassis, the turret and the hull before the final assembly. After the base protective green, apply a gloss coat under the decals and complete the weathering with washes into the recesses and pigments for dust and mud effects on the wheels and the chassis.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
