The Beechcraft 1900 is a twin-engine turboprop aircraft for short routes, derived from the successful King Air family of business aircraft. It is powered by a pair of Pratt and Whitney Canada PT6A series turboprops and was designed so that a small crew could operate it and so that it would stand up to intensive service with many takeoffs and landings a day. The 1900C version is marked by an elongated fuselage with a row of small windows and by unmistakable small aerodynamic surfaces at the tail, which improve stability. The aircraft became one of the most widespread machines of regional transport and served with dozens of carriers, with freight operators and in state and military roles.
With a short-run mold, reckon on sanding the mating surfaces, dry-fitting and filling. It is advisable to balance the long fuselage with weight in the nose before closing it up, so that the model does not sit on its tail on the landing gear. Mask the row of small windows with precisely cut tape, or fit them only after painting. Civilian schemes tend to be glossy, so devote time to a smooth base, spray thin layers with an airbrush and use a good gloss coat on which the decals will settle without silvering.
