An injection-molded plastic kit of the Bell AH-1G Cobra attack helicopter in 1:72 scale from Mistercraft. The package contains plastic parts, clear cockpit parts and a color instruction sheet with decals for several marking variants. The model is built unglued and unpainted.
The Bell AH-1 Cobra was the first series-produced dedicated attack helicopter. The AH-1G version had a slender fuselage, a two-seat cockpit in tandem and armament in the form of a chin turret with a gun and a rotary machine gun as well as underwing rocket pods. The Cobra became famous as the pioneer of the attack helicopter category.
Finish and paint the cockpit before you glue the fuselage together, and mask the glazing before spraying. Bring out an olive or transitional finish with a fine wash and drybrushing. Assemble and paint the underwing armament and the rotor separately; cut the small parts from the sprues carefully.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
