Bell P-39Q Airacobra exhaust stacks PRINT 1:72 from Eduard is a set of 3D printed resin exhausts. It replaces the plastic parts on a model of the Bell P-39Q Airacobra fighter in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set from Eduard contains exhaust stacks made by direct 3D printing from resin. The parts have hollowed mouths and a fine structure that the plastic parts from a kit usually cannot capture. They replace the original exhausts and give a model of the Bell P-39Q Airacobra fighter in 1:72 scale a faithful look. It is a detail accessory, not a model of its own.
The Bell P-39 Airacobra was an American fighter with an unusual arrangement of the engine behind the pilot and with tricycle landing gear. The Q version was the most widespread and was used in large numbers by the Soviet Air Force. The exhausts protruded along the sides of the fuselage behind the cockpit.
Wash the small parts to remove mold release and separate them carefully from the print supports. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The exhausts come out with dark metallic shades and a burnt patina in tones of rust and soot. Given the size, work with tweezers and protect your airways while sanding.
A detail set, not a model of its own. Paints, glue and accessories are not included in the package.
