Rob Taurus Bf-109 E-3 1:72 is a vacuum-formed clear canopy for models of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3 Emil fighter. It is not a model but a thin-walled replacement cockpit canopy.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains a vacuum-formed (vacuform) clear cockpit canopy in 1:72 scale for a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3. It is not an aircraft kit but a separate accessory. Thin walls and crystal-clear material replace the thicker part from the box and improve both the view into the cockpit and the overall realism. Dividing the parts into the windscreen, the hinged center section and the rear glazing usually allows the cockpit to be displayed open.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was the main German fighter of the Second World War. The early E series, nicknamed Emil, played a major part during the Battle of France and the Battle of Britain. The angular, divided canopy with its solid frames is a recognition feature of the type on a model, and a clear canopy sets it off properly.
Cut the canopy out with a small margin, sand the edge precisely until it seats and glue it with canopy glue or a minimum of cyanoacrylate. Mask the prominent frames before spraying and handle the thin part with care so that it keeps its shape.
This is a modeling accessory, not a kit. Glue, paints and masks are not included in the package.
