The Messerschmitt Bf 109G-10 (WNF) engine in 1:72 scale is a 3D-printed resin detail set from Eduard for a faithful rendering of the power plant and an open engine bay.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set brings a detailed engine for a model of the late Messerschmitt Bf 109G-10 fighter (built by Wiener Neustädter Flugzeugwerke) in 1:72 scale. It makes it possible to show an open power plant with the surrounding accessories, which turns an otherwise closed nose into a compelling part of the model.
The Bf 109G-10 was one of the most capable production versions of the fighter and was powered by a liquid-cooled twelve-cylinder Daimler-Benz engine of the DB 605 series. The engine bay with its inverted V12 and accessories is characteristic of the late 109.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and separate them from the print supports or casting blocks. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. The engine stands out if the individual accessories, the wiring and light weathering are picked out in color; for an open engine it is worth opening the corresponding cowling panels as well.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
