An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Bf 109G-6 fighter in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Eduard, in the premium ProfiPACK edition. To the plastic parts it adds colored etched parts for the interior, self-adhesive painting masks and a richer decal sheet with several marking options. The mold is modern, with fine surface detail and engraved panel lines.
The Bf 109G-6 was one of the most widespread versions of the legendary German fighter of the Second World War. Its recognition marks are the characteristic covers (bulges) over the breeches of the synchronized MG 131 machine guns and the Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine. The G-6 version served on every front from 1943 and was built in enormous numbers at a range of makers and plants.
Glue the small plastic parts with a thin liquid cement and attach the colored etched parts of the cockpit with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer before spraying and use an airbrush; the masks supplied make the sharp transitions of the canopy framing and the wheels easier. On the typical German camouflage, pre-shading and gentle weathering pay off.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
