A resin aftermarket detail set, not a stand-alone model. It contains finely cast piston rods of the retraction mechanism of the main landing gear legs and the locks in the down position. In the small 1:72 scale, where plastic parts are inevitably simplified, these castings bring a clear rise in detail.
The landing gear is exposed to view even in small scales. Crisper piston rods and visible locks raise the impression of accuracy and make it easier to pick the mechanism out with a wash.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut them carefully off the casting blocks and clean them up. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); protect your airways while sanding resin. Because of the size of the parts, work with tweezers and good light.
This is a detailing accessory, not an aircraft model. Paints, glue and the kit are not included in the package.
