The G-4 and G-6 versions share the shape of the glazing, and this masking set therefore covers them together. The dimensions were taken from the 1:72 Fine Molds kit.

Both versions came about shortly after one another and do not differ in the shape of the cockpit, although in other respects they are quite unalike. The older of them followed on from the variant without a pressurized cabin and still carried light cowling machine guns, whereas the younger received heavier weapons and with them prominent breech fairings. Both also ran on stronger main landing gear wheels, because of which teardrop bulges had to grow on the upper surface of the wing. It is precisely because the cockpit framing stayed the same that both versions make do with one cut of masks.
The main benefit is not in saving film but in the fact that somebody has already measured the shape. The outline does not have to be traced, tried, adjusted and applied again. The modeler peels a piece off, lays it on, presses it down and goes to spray. The difference from hand-cut tape shows most on the lower edge of the windscreen, where the frame tends to be narrowest.
If you decide to build the older version, reckon with the differences from the younger one being in the cowling and the armament, not in the cockpit. The set therefore has nothing to do with them and is used the same way in both cases. The model of the aircraft and paints are not included in the delivery. Anyone building both versions side by side simply buys the set twice and saves himself a double ordeal.
