This is an Aires resin detail set, not an airplane model. The set replaces the cockpit interior of the two-seat Messerschmitt Bf 110G heavy fighter with more accurate castings: the floor, the side panels, the instrument panel, the seats and the controls. The aim is to raise the level of detail in the cockpit markedly over the parts from the base kit.
The Messerschmitt Bf 110 was a German twin-engine multirole aircraft of the Second World War, used as a heavy fighter and as a night fighter. The G version belonged to the late series, with more powerful engines and heavier armament. The roomy cockpit, with two to three crew members, offers an interior that shows clearly once detailed.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand with your airways protected. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The interior usually calls for a shade matching German machines of the period; the details come out after a dry brush and a wash into the recesses.
The detail set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue, paints and further accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
