1:72 Blackburn Skua Mk.II

Blackburn Skua Mk.II masking set 1:72 (Peewit)

A self-adhesive masking set in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Peewit for a model of the British carrier aircraft Blackburn Skua Mk.II. The masks follow the intricate framing of the long canopy exactly and make it easier to spray it cleanly.

The real subject

The Skua was a British carrier dive bomber and fighter of the Fleet Air Arm of the late 1930s. As the first combat monoplane of the Royal Navy it made its mark in the opening phase of the Second World War, among other places off Norway.

Use

• transfer the masks onto the glazing and press them down firmly
• spray the frame color and remove the masks once it is dry
• it makes the long, intricate canopy manageable
• the material peels off without residue

Who the set is for

For modelers building the Skua Mk.II in 1:72 scale who want sharp glazing frames without laboriously taping them up.

This is a masking accessory, not a model of an aircraft. The kit and the paints are not included in the package.
