An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Challenger 1 main battle tank in the form used on the European NATO battlefield. The set contains parts in gray plastic, flexible tracks and decals; the model is built and painted.
The Challenger 1 was the main battle tank of the British army from the beginning of the 1980s and carried a 120 mm rifled gun and Chobham armor. In the NATO version it served with British units in Western Europe, where the vehicles wore the standard multicolor camouflage of the Cold War.
Finish the running gear before the hull is closed up. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic, spray a primer coat and apply the dark green camouflage pattern with an airbrush. The broken-up hull and the running gear are picked out with a wash and a dry brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
