1:72 BTR-60 APC Wheels With Weighted K-58 Tyres is a set of replacement wheels with tires shaped into a weighted state. It is not a model of the carrier, but its running gear.

A replacement for the road wheels of the armored personnel carrier as the Armory brand has prepared it for 1:72 scale. The tires bear the designation K-58 and are shaped as weighted, that is with a flat seating on the road. The set is used in place of the parts that came with the base kit and does not form any vehicle on its own.
The BTR-60 was a four-axle, that is eight-wheeled, armored personnel carrier of Soviet production from the turn of the 1950s and 1960s. Two gasoline engines drove it, it could swim, and its characteristic feature was precisely the set of four axles with tire pressure regulation on the move. The first versions had an open fighting compartment, the later ones received a closed hull with a small turret. The machine spread to dozens of armies and in a number of them served long after the breakup of the Eastern Bloc.
Before gluing them in, check that all the wheels seat on a flat plane; on an eight-wheeler the slightest deviation shows up in the model standing on seven points. Always orient the contact patch downward. Do not paint the tires black but dark gray with a hint of brown, as otherwise they look like rubber from another world. The tread pattern stands out when a dry light pigment is worked into it after drying.
