A plastic kit of the French light tank Renault FT in the version with a gun (Char Canon) in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer RPM. The set contains injection-molded parts and decals for several marking options for this legendary armored vehicle.
The Renault FT of the end of the First World War is often called the first tank of modern conception: it had a rotating turret with the armament, a separated fighting and engine compartment and the crew at the front. The gun version carried a gun of 37 mm caliber. The tank was built in large numbers, it served in many armies and it became the pattern for a whole series of later designs.
In 1:72 scale the parts are small, so we recommend precise cleaning up and liquid cement for plastic. Paint the running gear before you finish the hull. A primer will improve adhesion, dark washes will bring out the rivets and the detail, and dust and mud on the suspension will give the tank a period look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
