1:72 Chodníčky Bf 109 5 x 33 mm (Oramask)

Omask 1:72 Bf 109 walkways (Oramask)

A set of self-adhesive masks made of Oramask film intended for spraying the non-slip walkways, the marked areas at the wing root that are walked on during servicing and when climbing into the cockpit. The mask bounds the shape of the walkway, so you spray it cleanly and with crisp edges. The dimensions are matched to 1:72 scale (5 strips, about 33 mm).

The real subject

On the wing of Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighters walkways were marked at the wing root, protecting the skin and keeping the crew and ground personnel from slipping. They tended to be set apart from the surrounding finish by color or by an outline.

Use

• Stick the mask onto a dry base coat where the walkway goes.
• Press the edges down carefully against paint creeping underneath.
• Spray the different shade of the walkway with an airbrush or a brush.
• Once it has flashed off, remove the mask carefully.

Who it is for

• Modelers who want precisely bounded walkways
• Builders of the Bf 109 in 1:72 scale
• Anyone interested in clean work without freehand taping

This is a modeling accessory (masking film), not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
