An injection-molded plastic kit of the Citroën Xsara WRC rally car in its 2005 season form, in the small 1:43 scale from the French manufacturer Heller. The box contains plastic parts, clear parts for the glazing and a decal sheet. Thanks to the small scale it is a compact model with a smaller parts count; the kit is meant to be glued and painted.
The Citroën Xsara WRC was an exceptionally successful world rally championship car of the first half of the 2000s. In the hands of top drivers it took a string of wins and titles and became one of the most successful cars of its era. The 2005 season form corresponds to the peak phase of the car's career, when the Citroën works team was among the strongest in the whole championship. The Xsara WRC is a rewarding subject for rally fans.
In the small 1:43 scale the parts are tiny, so work with a sharp knife and tweezers and glue with precisely dosed cement for plastic. Paint the body with an airbrush over a primer. The colorful rally livery is made up largely of sponsor decals — they settle best on a gloss clear coat. Glue the glazing with a glue for clear parts so that it does not fog.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
