Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic model of the British Daimler Armoured Car Mk.I in the Close Support variant in 1:72 scale from the Polish brand IBG models. It is a new mold with fine surface detail; the box also holds photo-etched parts and suggested interior detail. The Close Support subtitle refers to the version with a howitzer meant for direct fire support.
The Daimler Armoured Car was a British armored reconnaissance vehicle of the Second World War with all-wheel drive and good mobility. The standard version carried a 2-pounder gun, while the Close Support variant was armed with a short howitzer and served mainly to fire smoke and high-explosive rounds in support of reconnaissance units. Daimlers proved themselves in North Africa and in northwest Europe and ranked among the best Allied armored cars of their day.
Separate the small plastic parts carefully and glue them with liquid modeling cement; glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Finish and paint the suggested interior and the chassis before the hull is closed. Lay down a primer before painting, spray with an airbrush and bring the British olive camouflage to life with a wash and dry brushing on the edges.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
