Peewit 1:72 Dornier Do 27 / CASA C-127 is a set of painting masks for building a model of the German utility aircraft, and of its Spanish licensed version, in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of painting masks from Peewit for a model of the Dornier Do 27, or rather of its Spanish licensed version the CASA C-127, in 1:72 scale. This is NOT a kit and NOT an aircraft model, but an accessory for spraying the canopy frames, and other areas if needed, accurately. The masks are cut from masking film and are applied straight onto the parts.
The Dornier Do 27 was a German single-engine utility aircraft with short take-off and landing (STOL) performance, used for liaison and observation duties; in Spain it was built under license as the CASA C-127. The extensive cockpit glazing makes masking a demanding step, and the set simplifies it considerably. The set is intended for the matching model in the same scale.
Degrease the parts and clear them of dust. Transfer the masks onto the frames, press them down and smooth the edges so that no paint bleeds under them. Spray thin coats and lift the masks off while the paint is still fresh. Apply the interior frame color under the masks first.
This is a masking accessory, not an aircraft model. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
