The thin metal parts complete the small elements that cannot be made faithfully in injection-molded plastic, typically cabin detail, instrument panels, seats, seat belts and fine external elements. The set is meant for modelers who want to lift a base kit to a higher level.
The EH-101 is a modern three-engine multi-purpose helicopter of Anglo-Italian development. It is used in the anti-submarine, transport and rescue roles and for maritime patrol, with military as well as civilian operators.
Separate the etched parts carefully from the fret, bend them on the edge of a blade or in a bending tool and join them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Bring out the areas finished in color with a brush; give matte metal parts a primer before varnishing. Working with fine photo-etch calls for tweezers and a sharp knife and suits more advanced builders.
This is an accessory, not a helicopter model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
