Quickboost 1:72 F-102A Delta Dagger correct nose is a resin part with the correct nose shape for a model of the American Delta Dagger interceptor.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin part from the Quickboost brand of the Czech maker Aires brings a correctly shaped nose for a model of the American Convair F-102A Delta Dagger interceptor in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane model, but a detail accessory for more experienced modelers that corrects or replaces the shape of the forward fuselage from the kit with a more faithful casting.
The Convair F-102 Delta Dagger was an American supersonic delta-wing interceptor, one of the first armed exclusively with air-to-air guided missiles carried in an internal weapons bay. It served with the air defense forces in the Cold War era. The shape of the nose is a clearly visible and characteristic detail for a faithful model.
First wash the casting in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release residue is removed. Cut the casting block off with a saw and sand the cut surface with respiratory protection. Glue the part with cyanoacrylate glue, not with cement for plastic. Expect a little filling and sanding at the transition into the fuselage; try the fit dry before painting.
The set is supplied as a resin part, unassembled and unpainted. It is not an airplane model, but an accessory to a plastic kit. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
